ReplyDeletei'm a first time visitor to your blog and i'm particpating in the Blogtoberfest AND i just wanted to say how happy i am that you have chosen to work through the 'scars' from that horrible Mrs. Nash...it does upset me when i hear such stories of creativity being squashed in the interest of "teaching" and i've seen it happen more than once =-(
i can tell you from personal experience that learning ANY skill takes time and practice so i'm glad you chose creativity! your giveaway bag is really AWESOME!

ReplyDeleteHi fellow Blogtoberfester isn’t it all so exciting and overwhelming!! I have only recently started blogging and stumbling across Blogtoberfest at Cathie from m.e.’s blog is such good luck and good timing. It is helping me meet lots of like minded souls and learn so much about blogging. That little bag you have made is so cute, I am just starting to get into yellow and the vintage buttons I found recently (and just had to blog about) have helped me fall even more in love with the colour. Buttons, buttons, buttons; I just can’t believe how many people love them as much as I do! Congratulations on almost 100 posts, I wonder what I will be posting about when I get there?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be cool to receive a telegram from The Blog Queen?
ReplyDeletesuch a lovely giveaway the bag is gorgeous and the fluffy buttons too!!!
ReplyDeleteHow can I resist a crack at this one? Am up to my eyeballs in green bags and would be rather chuffed to pull out a florally funky version. And you know how you get the checkout chick raised eyebrow when any not green bags you might happen to bring don't have those little supermarket bag holder loops? I love a spot of trouble to brighten my day...
ReplyDeleteYay for Blogfest... I love fluffy buttons... I love handmade bags. Congrats on the 100th post. We're having a give away too so in your travel be sure to call past and say HELLO!! Make it loud so I can hear you!!
