My Creative Space

Its amazing what you can achieve when your child goes to bed 2 hours earlier. I cannot believe this whole extra life I have!!
I made this teepee for Busy a while ago but finally finished last week, its in her bedroom. She loves it.
and inspired by Kirstys' embroidery I got out some patterns I ordered from sublime stitching a while ago and got stitchin'.
In my usual wonky style...
I did my first french knots on her little hair clip. In the original pattern she isn't smiling , but I changed that.
.....and gave her some stripey tights instead of long socks.
I do love embroidery, its so quiet and transportable.

  14. Great work & my post was much the same, great project, just not quite finished!! I'm all about crafting with children in bed, ahhh, the quiet hum of the sewing machine. My own little world, well, when they were little, now i miss them!! Tee pees are so much fun, did Busy want to sleep in it tonight?? When my son got a tee pee, he did, so cute, on his sheepskin, very authentic. Love Posie
