My Creative Space. Well this week I baked. Yep. I know. Shocking stuff. I could count on one hand the amount of times this urge to bake has taken over (there was this time when I was flooded in.) In fact everyone did. We had Sunday sew' n 'sew at my place - with this clever and creative bunch we meet about once a month -and it was great as usual. A few newbies also came which is always nice and everyone bought food- we had loads of nice things... I made date scones.
I bet you can't tell which one Busy made?
I also finished my heart embroidery for the Pincushion Swap realising that, because I finished it in semi darkness I had inadvertedly used two differnt types of red. Then I cut it too small to be part of the pincushion so now it is in a little hoop hanging on the wall.... and I am starting again with the pincushion.... phew....

and if you keep scrolling down you may be shocked to realise I don't actually look like a fat chicken...

ReplyDeleteThe heart looks just lovely. I'm sorry to hear it's take two, although obviously take one was good enough to be hung on the wall.
LOVE Busy's take on 'date' scones. My boys ate sprinkles for lunch yesterday... mmmm, nutritious.
