Ta da!!!! It's My Bearded Pigeon...

This is my new little label- it is called My Bearded Pigeon.  Do you like the name? ( some have commented it sounds like a euphemism for .....)
....and how great is the logo???

I knew exactly what kind of pigeon I wanted - but I left the look of the beard entirely to Val, how great  is it???!!! I have said it before and I will say it again, if you need a logo- head over to xinkblot, she is so great and patient and clever.
I wanted to do something for grown ups... so I have opened a shop on madeit selling woodcut brooches of the most lovely pictures, big gorgeous butterflies and moths, vintage cameras and  vintage tin robots.... they range in price from $11-$18.50, depending on size.

but lots more is coming....and I have plans, oh the plans that I have for so much more.... so to launch this shop I am giving away not 1 but 2 brooches!
You could win both of these lovely brooches! Easy!!! All you have to do is pop over to my madeit shop and have a look-see and leave a comment below. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE!!!I will draw a winner on Sunday 6th June.
AND because its a new shop I would love some feedback so the first 3 sold will receive FREE POSTAGE.
SOLD!!!!!

  35. Love this - our favourite things together in brooch form - butterflies, robots and a pigeon - but in our house the pigeon is beardless and keeps asking to drive the bus!
    best wishes for your store

  36. great work- and I love it that you are called 'the bearded pigeon'- that's fantastic. I was just talking to my neighbour this morning about what I would call a pub if I owned one- how would this go..."meet you for a stout at the Bearded Pigeon" Not bad (I know, you sell lovely made things not stout), so in this case it would be more like (hear British accent)-"oooh check out the luvly brooches over at the Bearded Pigeon-nice". And in case you were wondering my pub would be something with an 'and the' in eg. The pig and the tin whistle.
