So, are you still eating left overs? We are. We are preparing for New Years Eve.( note to my lovely mate L.C who reads my blog religiously, yes Liz I mean YOU, see you New Years and I will talk to you about the menu very soon). What are you up too? We are having what started as a small dinner for 6 and has now turned into a feast for 11. Are you staying in? watching the fireworks?
In other news: new cushions have come my way, plus some old favourites have been re- stocked. All fabric is designed and printed by me so therefore cannot be found anywhere else. Here are the newest /latest ones:
Vermont
Portland, Oregon ( cos I reckon this lady is pretty tops, so I had to do her home town, plus it seems there is a hell of a lotta crafty goodness that comes out of there)
Chicago- I love love love this map:
Adelaide: haven't been there yet but it looks so pretty.
Brisbane: also known lovingly as Brisvegas, do people who live there get offended by that term?
All available here.
what do you think?
Do you have Hobart coming soon?
ReplyDeleteYay for Adelaide. Cool cushions, them cushions! We catch up with 2 other families. This year we each do a course from a country of our choice so tomorrow I am trying baklava for the first time and hunting down Greek cocktail ingredients. Have a great evening and see you in 2011 :)
ReplyDeleteA feast for eleven sounds so much nicer than our plans .... er, microwave dinners for two in front of the telly!
ReplyDeleteLove your new cushions. Vermont is particularly fabulous.
oh, i love those-and yes, we still have leftovers ;)
ReplyDeleteYes leftovers are still on the menu! Love the pillows. Wishing you peace and blessings for the New Year and a whole pile more leftovers ^_^
ReplyDeleteWow, they are fantastic, and yes, I love the Portland one! Thanks for the nice mention. I love the Chicago map too. Really, they are all ace.
ReplyDeleteNo plans for NYE. The Mr. might head out for frivolity but, I like to stay home and have a quiet night to reflect on the coming year.
Have a gorgeous dinner party and many blessings for the new year!
xo
Very snazzy! My fave is Chicago. Where are you getting this amazing fabric? Wow. As for NYE, it's all pretty low key here although the 18 year is ready to party! Have fun xo
ReplyDeleteLove the new cushions :) Not sure what we are dong NYE yet as the other half has had to work this week and is knackered when he gets home, mind you it is going to hot here in Perth and looking at 40 on NY day arghhhh.
ReplyDeleteThey're all fantastic! Lucky me, I already have one! Have a great NYE and a fabulous 2011!
ReplyDeleteLOVE them!!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you printed the fabric yourself. How on earth?? Yu are such a clever chooky. XX
I don't ACTUALLY print it personally. I have it printed.
ReplyDeleteLove them Cath! I was going to ask the same thing - how the hell do you print that?! Well, they look great anyway and your intellectual property is mighty fine :) Happy new things! :) Kx
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy New Year Cath!!! Hope 2011 is a fabulous one for you.
ReplyDeleteUs Brizvegans are more than happy with the term "Brisvegas" and are chuffed that there is now a Chunky Chooky pillow in our honour :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very happy New Year. We were in bed before midnight, after a quiet night at home, a drink, a yummy dinner, a dvd and with the sound of fireworks to wake us to let us know that 2011 had arrived.
I love your work. Its so wonderful. And I especially love that you use organic cotton. x
ReplyDeletegoodness they are gorgeous, especially Adelaide, happy new year ;)
ReplyDeleteI love to see Adelaide lined up with Chicago...strangely.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I don't understand why we are Brisvegas (not being a native) but we are cool with our tacky moniker. :)
I adore our North and South America cushion covers - thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteMaybe next you could do a map of Tassie ;)
Your cushion of Brisbane - what a natty idea (all maps, that is!) However where-ever did you hear the term "Brisvegas"? It's a new one on us (and everyone we know!)
ReplyDeleteI'm born & bred Brissie girl (I prefer that name) & Bris Vegas doesn't annoy me that much ... unless I'm listening to commercial FM radio and they use it more than once per hour ;-) I think the term has probably come about with Brissie often referred to as a big country town. You could either take it as being insulting i.e. it's nothing like Las Vegas or either as a term of endearment i.e. Aussie slang where we like to call things the opposite to what they are such as "tiny" for someone who is really tall and "blue" for a redhead.
ReplyDeleteI don't get offended by Brisvegas... but I prefer Brissie- same as littlemissairgap.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a Paris one of these!!
