Chefs' family are in Christchurch, New Zealand. They are safe but understandably anxious and fearful. So are we. When something happens in New Zealand it feels like it has happened to family, New Zealand is like a sibling to us, and our hearts go out to all of you. This is awful and is going to get worse. We are thinking of you NZ.
Mother nature is not happy - not happy with us all. When will we start listening to her?
My Husbie's formerly a Kiwi, so we feel the same.

I feel the same even though I dont know anyone there.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about Mother Nature xo
Thank goodness Chef's family are ok.
ReplyDeleteOur hearts are over there tonight.
These sure are pretty frightening times.
So pleased to hear that they are okay Cath. I hope they can get some sleep tonight. The many after shocks must be awful to go through after the main one. XX
ReplyDeleteLooks very scary and awful. Terrible times in that part of the world, you're right Mother Nature is not happy.
ReplyDeleteThere is not much smiling going on here today. Glad to hear Chef's family are safe.
ReplyDeleteI am in Christchurch right now and it is absolutely horrible. Glad to hear chef's family are ok. Our friends and family are all ok too, and we live very close to the central city as do many people we know. My partner had a very very close call and we are feeling extremely lucky. We have lost a lot but we are in a stable house and we've just got power and water (only cold- hot water cylinder has been damaged) and we are safe, as are the people we love... can't ask for much more than that at a time like this.

ReplyDeleteperhaps us greenies need to start SHOUTING!!!
My inlaws are there too. They are well, and I'm glad yours are too.
Thanks so much for my laundry powder. It makes me think of you so many times during the week!!
