I need your help.
I have an idea. You see the chunkychooky iphone app has had, over 2000 downloads. Yes 2000. I was shocked too! I don't really know if that means 2000 extra people are reading my blog but I do know that people are downloading the app. So my wonderful genius app. developer Master S and I have hatched a plan for an update. See under my header I have a new page called Make Something!!! this new page is going to link directly from my app. ( you can see it up there you don't need the app to have a look- its under my header) so I want to make it a huge list of resources and this is where I need your help.
It will be divided into sections:
Tutorials: which will be divided into sewing, knitting and crochet, embroidery, and other crafty goodness. ( and other categories as they come up) I want you to send me the best tutorials you have found, they can be on blogs, on YOUR OWN blog, on YouTube wherever. If you have a link on your side bar that just links to say a google doc could you please send me a link to the post where you mention the new tutorial so I can link from that. For example: How to sew an easy pair of kids pants, how to sew bias binding, how to make a simple bag etc. If you think this is a good tutorial with EASY TO FOLLOW instructions- Send me the link!
Craft Books I am going to link all of the reviews I have done, but what other books could you recommend and if you are recommending them maybe you could even write a little blurb about the book and I will link to your blog as the reviewer!
There is also going to be another page linked from the Make Something page with a list of SUPPLIERS Suppliers of fabric, ( they can, for example, be shops on etsy that sell supplies, just send me the link to the shop) paper, blank cards, deco tape, wool, lino cutting, fabric printing, business card printing, screen printing, blank t-shirts anything you have used yourself and were really happy about. Anything and everything will be considered but they must sell online.
There will be a little prize for being the most ace helper!!It will be a really good prize! Promise!!
Please don't just send me a link to a page full of tutorials- I want them tried and tested by you as being really good.
Leave the links here as comments and I will start adding them.
