All is good here, despite my lack of blogging, in fact I am surprised I haven't got a phone call from my mate LC to ask if everything is ok as I haven't updated my blog for a while. I haven't had a lot to say. We passed the halfway mark and had a the 20 weeks scan and everything is looking good. Have felt the baby move etc... all those things have been happening as well as the mood swings teariness and general hormonal feelings etc with growing a baby. You know.
I have been spending a lot of time thinking about sleep arrangements come October when we get our new house mate. With Busy who was a dream baby all was easy except she refused to sleep in a cot, or more to the point once she was asleep she was nontransferable. You couldn't move her therefore there was no way of getting her into the cot so after trying for a few weeks we decided it was easier to put a mattress on the floor in her room and I could feed her to sleep and then creep away which is what I did. It worked really well for us, but I missed my husband.
I never considered putting Busy in with us when she was tiny - as it made me too nervous -she was in a bassinet next to the bed for the first 6 weeks but I also didn't like her being in another room from me as it felt too far away. So the mattress on the floor was an easy solution.
what did you do for sleep time with your babies?
what worked for you?
any ideas I may not have considered?
