The reluctant christmas-er

We made Christmas decorations this morning to send to the family.

Clearly the child is gifted. Who doesn't love collage??!!

Busy has also been asking for a Christmas tree of late- so being unwilling to have a plastic tree in the house or cut one down  I made one...

Its amazing what you can do with a bit of calico, some giant ricrac and some wooden buttons.

Busy made most of the decorations either at home or daycare.  I need to put a few more buttons on. I am trying to get into the spirit of things. Really I am.
Winner will be announced tonight!

  4. All trees looking fantastic! I don't know how this would work in your climate, but we have a Christmas Tree growing in a pot which we bring into the house every year. The rest of the time it sits by the side veranda, so it's a good alternative to fake or dead trees. I guess it wouldn't work where you are, though!
