Home with a new sense of family.

Well the bags are unpacked, load number four of washing is hanging on the line and we all had a great time. There was an abundance of toy dropping, Chef was a great get away driver, and an abundance of good old fashioned family time...uninterrupted time. It was so lovely to be way from the computer and for a few nights no mobile phone coverage either. I took a big box of craft to do even considered taking my sewing machine at one point but I have to tell you I have not done any crafting for over a week , no stitching, no hookin', no sketching of ideas, no looking on etsy, no blog reading or blog doing. Nothing. And it has been really great.

I realised a few things during this time. I realised (again) Busy is growing up and I don't want to miss any of it -as she may very well be an only child... and even if she turns out not to be I still don't want to miss out, but the other thing I realised is that I have been so conscious of making sure I spend time with her... I realised maybe I have been neglecting someone else who lives here, who I love so very much.  I realised that making sure I keep my blog up to date and comment on other peoples has become way to important to me, I need to step back a little I think, I will still be here, and I will still visit but I may not reply to all the comments anymore. I realised that the computer is taking time away from my family and I don't want Busy to grow up with memories of me typing away on the computer all the time. I know a certain someone enjoyed his wife hobbie-less and stress free. I want to keep a bit of that holiday-ness going.
