Want to win a craft book?OF COURSE you do!!

We all know that Nikki has written a book right? Well she has, it is called YOU SEW GIRL. But have you actually seen the book? Have you looked inside it? Well I have. It teaches you how to sew! It really does! It has so much great information and as a completely self taught sewer ( ie google taught me) it has been great to have all those questions answered, that, to be honest I was to embarrassed to ask!!! Here is a little look inside:

Nikki has been sewing for years and everything is explained in a simple way. The start of the book has lots of great information about all the sewing basics, like how to cut patterns, how to make bias binding and then the rest of the book has patterns so you can put your new skills into practice.

It is a great book and I am thrilled and honoured to be able to give away three copies!!
Sorry this is only open to Australian residents.

  2. Sounds just like the book I need! Hope I win...

  3. That book looks amazing! Anything that helps a beginner to sew is fantastic in my books! I have trouble sewing anything other than straight lines & even then they aren't terribly straight.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Oh yes please! I'm just such a new sewer, so this would be so great.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ooh yay! I know so many people who need a book like this (myself included!)

  12. Oof! I was so excited for a minute...ah well. I don't really need a "how to sew" book but, I like the look of hers (the little I have seen on the internet). Though I am not able to enter, I am very happy for the winners to get such a fab book!

    ReplyDelete
  13. OH... please me!!! I am so stuck at "beginner", so much enthusiasm, but not enough know-how. I even thrifted a fabulous used sewing model in my size to help me make my own clothes, it looks so good, but shame I don't know where to go from here... NO sewing groups in my area = turning to you-tube! This book is to die for! x

  14. Oh I want this book SO BAD. Like you I am self taught where sewing is concerned, but unlike you, I'm still quite bad at it. ;)

I meant to buy a copy last week but forgot & now our heater AND washing machine have broken so winning one is the only way I'll get it any time soon!

So, everything is crossed & then some...

Thanks for the chance Cath. :)
