Hop Skip Jump GIVEAWAY

Do you know the blog Hop Skip Jump? Perhaps you have seen Fiona's beautiful softies before? I have long been a huge fan of her work. When I first started looking at softies why back in the days when I was dedicated to chunkychooky-  before My Bearded Pigeon hatched and I was first thinking about something I wanted to make I found Fiona's softies  pretty quickly and I was hooked.  I love the fabric she uses, the lovely neutral tones and the unisex nature of the toys. Nothing frilly! I love the simplicity of the faces and the great little outfits her toys have. She inspired me to have a go and although I would never dare compare anything chunkychooky to her brilliance I do love love love everything she makes!!! ( alright enough gushing)

So imagine my high pitched squeal when this arrived in the post:

With three of my favourite words in the byline- ECO FRIENDLY TOYS! Woop!! This is full of fantastic projects all beautifully photographed and lots of wonderful organic fabrics used. The patterns all come in a little envelope in the back of the book- which I love - no photocopying, it's also really easy to find which pattern you want. There are some great ideas about where to source eco friendly fabrics too. There is a range of projects in here from easy-peasy to a little bit harder but nothing hugely complicated.
here is a peek inside:

*sigh* I had all these great plans to make something from the book to show you with this review as Busy is desperate for the kangaroo - with joey in the book- but it will have to wait until Christmas now I think...

Do you love it?? Do you want one of your own?? Do you think its about the right time to make some softies for Christmas?
If you answered YES then I have some good news! Penguin have given me ONE copy to giveaway to Australian residents only. All you have to do is be a follower of this blog, have a little look around and leave a comment below before the 3rd November at midnight.  You can tweet it or facebook it (??) or mention it on your blog if you like.
The book is released on the 31st October if you can't wait.
