This is where I sleep. With Chef beside me or not really beside me as the bed is so huge. I like the bed to be made. I will make it 2 seconds before going to bed if needed. The doona needs to be the right way around the pillows need to be straight and the curtain needs to be closed without one crack of light being able to shine though in the morning. The bed sometimes looks like this. I like it to look like this.
The chook was from a swap I did. He is handsome don't you think? I made the log from my all time favourite fabric. We have a king size bed because we are both long.
I love our bed. I love our latex mattress and latex pillows. we had a crap bed for years. Two years ago we bought this one and now I sleep like a baby.
I am playing My place and Yours at Vics place. You can play too.

ReplyDeleteSecond of all; what a space! The gorgeous wall hanging as a bed-hed is a fabulous idea & although I love the chook I think the log is adorable! How can a log be adorable??
Bed making, water drinking, cushion empire-ing (totally a word)... you're a super hero.
Thanks for joining in Cath. xx
Gorgeous and happy all around!
ReplyDeleteGreat bed. Love it! Love the wall hanging too... the near death typhoid experience was worth it. I had an interesting time in an Indian hospital too!
ReplyDeleteThe wall hanging is amazing, adds great colour to the room.

ReplyDeleteAnd what an experience behind it!

I just read about your near death experience in India. My sister went to India with a friend. She was in her early twenties so a fair while ago now. An Indian man offered to show her and her friend around, drugged her, sold her an chess set which she paid a hundred dollars for and never received and escaped by the skin of her teeth! A close escape but she has nothing to show for it.
ReplyDeleteI can understand your attachment to the wall hanging. Apart from the typhoid, it must bring back great memories of your travels.
ReplyDeleteI love that log :) and that is one amazing wall hanging too... not worth you nearly dying, but utterly gorgeous. I can't stop looking at it! Kx
