halfway to 70

pic from here
Crikey! 35. Seemed to have snuck up on me... lovely breakfast with some friends this morning then lunch with some lovely friends who have birthdays a week either side of me and then Chef making my favoiurite dinner tonight. Lamb shanks in a rich tomatoe sauce. I better squeeze in a trip to the gym...I love birthdays...mine and other peoples! I am having a bit of a knees -up on Saturday night which I am very excited about as I have 2 friends travelling from Sydney and Brisbane who I love dearly and can't wait to see. Its exciting!!!!!

  1. Ooooh, a very happy birthday to you. Sounds like a great time you'll be having. Halfway to 70, ha, funny to think about it that way. I'm 32 on Friday, another July baby... hurrah!

  4. Happy Birthday to you Cath! Hope you have a great day and super-fun party on Saturday night.

I'm nearly halfway to 70 too. I never thought of it that way before. Yikes!!!!! Still the last 35 years have taken....well....35 years so I'm guessing the next lot will too :)

Valentino update - Biggest boy is still sleeping with him at night and that my friend is a world record! I think you've created the worlds most lovable monster!

  5. Oh, happy birthday to you Mrs. Can't believe I'm a few years down the track and now you've made me feel that much closer to seventy. Seventy wasn't even on my radar before now (too busy procrastinating over forty!). Have an excellent knees up, spoilt to the moon and back sort of day!

  6. Happy Birthday! I have just turned 35 and really felt it was a turning point for me, much more so than 30 even. They say life falls into seven year cycles so I am entering my new phase and it feels like that too, especially with my youngest about to start school and my baby days behind me. I want to get fit, get a business off the ground and a million other things...better get started!

  7. Woohoo! Happy 35th Birthday.
35 is such a magnificent age, and 1974 was such a magnificent year to be born.
Hope you have a fabulous party Saturday night!
