I finally did it!

About 6 months ago I made a toy, a monster called Monty for The Toy Society, packaged it up with all the tags and bits and bobs and their it sat on the shelf taunting me with my lack of doing... I just wasn't happy with a spot locally that I could think of where I could drop it "anon". Well a couple of weeks ago Tania from Myrtle and Eunice ( most hilarious blog ever!!!) did a drop in the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne and I thought- right! If she can do it there in the middle of a city then what excuse did I have ??! So I decided the best thing to do was put it in the car and wait for the right moment. Well today I did it!!
We went to the beach this morning and then up to a lookout to eat our lunch and it was the perfect spot. Monty even was left with a lovely view:
An older couple arrived just as we were leaving and I was worried they were going to follow us and try to give it back to me. Check out the Toy Society if you haven't already.
I think I am going to make it a regular event!!!

  1. That has to bring a smile to your dial! Now just try telling me you weren't sorely tempted to lurk about to spot the finder (and check their character references)?
