Finally the big reveal!

So. This is one of the things I have been working on behind the scenes. Fabric. Turned into cushions, at this point but I have plans for more interesting things later...The idea behind the fabric has been to try and made cushions that are unisex. Lots of cushions have frills and ruffles and sequins and are made from silk and satins with pictures of flowers and the like. I wanted to do something a bit different.

The maps are all exclusive to My Bearded Pigeon and the ampersand one is too.... the Bruce Williamson poem embroidery cushion, well you have seen that before but now it is square and available to buy- due to huge amounts of hits on flickr and it has been featured on quite a few blogs... the bottom row is just fabric- all organic cotton- that tickled my fancy. The Sydney map was snaffled by a friend of mine as soon as she saw it so it is not available for sale at this point. Though in the next week or so I will have more.

Different maps are coming as we speak- but to launch this range of cushions everything is on sale for under $41! With the exception of the embroidery cushion which takes me quite some time to complete hence the price tag.

I am a bit nervous about showing this as it has been my little secret  for so long with numerous back and fourth samples and tweaking and should- they- have- an- envelope- back- or- a- zipper- back- type- discussions - I went with the zipper - it has probably taken about 6 months from the initial idea until the cushions were actually sewn.
So big deep breath: Here it is.
Critique please.

Completely seperate book giveaway here.
