We are going on a journey- a driving one- and I thought this would be the perfect time to "drop" all these toys I have had laying around the sewing room. They were made as protoypes a lot of them... to try different ideas... but now its time for them to go off into the wide wide world.
I can't wait to do the drops- last time, it was so exciting- dropping, snapping and running... and my toy was found which was even more exciting.
Have you ever done a toy drop?
Warms the heart, love Posie
ReplyDeleteWow. You really know how to embrace a cause! I've only done one to date - which is just enough to be able to imagine the case of the warm and fuzzies you must have with all of those! Well done Mrs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea. I hope they all get found and given loving homes.
ReplyDeleteOMG I've wanted to do this for ages! I never even thought about all the 'prototypes' I've got lying around. I'm totally inspired to do this now and might I just add.....lucky ducks who stumble upon your goodies!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awsome idea Cath! If only you could see their journey...
ReplyDeletei love it cath!
ReplyDeleteso many cute little creatures going off to find new homes...just such a cute idea.
you are amazing cath..you actually DO the things that i think about doing but never really get around it....
you have motivated me now.
It's true there is more happiness in giving than in receiving, though I think those who find these gifts, made from such a generous heart, will be just as thrilled and happy as you are in giving them. What a great idea, thanks for the link to the Toy Society website, I've just gone over and joined. So glad I stumbled across your blog today and that you shared this fantastic idea.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great tour. Reminds me I should do another, such fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good few days away.

Fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteHi There,
ReplyDeleteMy kids found the 'Chunky Chooky' left at Smiths lake a week ago, we were staying at the rental house for the weekend.
Being 5 and 2 they loved it.
I thought it was a great gesture and really appreciated it.
Thanks very much from us all.
I'll email a photo.
Yes! I have done several drops. My very first one was found, and an adorable photo was posted right away. What a thrill! Only a few get reported, but it's still so much fun to drop them. I need to get some ready so when I'm out and about this summer I can do lots of drops! (Once I got to watch someone find my toy - they had no idea - it was soooo much fun!)
