Point and Shoot

Sunday was a perfect sunny Winters day here. Busy woke up cured of illness almost and we had friends over for lunch. Busy and her Bestie played all afternoon. I actually got to spend a good hour or two sitting on the outdoor setting we got in January. We fired up the wood fired  oven Chef made a couple of years ago (after researching and reading EVERY book published on the topic for the preceding 2 years) and everything tastes good when it comes out of there. EVERYTHING. I do love taking photos of food

After Busy* finished off some sewing for me....

  (how is her finger position???  The photo is a bit blurred because I leapt for the camera so quickly when I saw her doing it!!!)

We got her onto cooking breakfast- Just add a bit of vanilla essence to the berry compot to go over the pancakes thanks darls....

Point and Shoot

This is Busy (with the curls) singing Happy Birthday to her Bestie who had her 3rd birthday party yesterday. They are so sweet funny and mischevious together. they are always so happy to see each other, their eyes shining brightly when they do. Her Mum and I marvel at their love for each other, it is so uncomplicated, like friendships are when you are 3. Like they should be when you are 3.
I look at this picture and think it is such a moment in time for them, one of those pictures they can look at when they are big girls and laugh it how little they were... I wonder what is in store for these two precious little creatures...? I cross everything for them, that they have long lives full of love and happiness, that one day they have little girls of their own who they can love as much as they are truly, deeply adored. Happy Birthday Miss A, we all love you so very much.

Point and Shoot

The new camera and I are still getting acquainted and I am still getting use to lugging something big around with me, but am forcing myself to take it with me wherever I go on the weekends.  I also planned on joining in Point and Shoot this week over at Fat Mum Slims's  blog to make sure I took some good photos this weekend.
Yesterday we went to a local attraction. The Pet Porpise Pool ... ( we refer to it as the Pet Porpise Prison, the bottle nose dolphin (pictured) use to be called a porpise , hence the name)  we have been reluctant due to the large animals small pools thing... it seems so cruel, but we knew someone would love it and we can teach her why we feel its sad for the animlas as she gets older. It was an overcast day so we pretty much had the place to ourselves so there was lots of dolphin touching. As you can see Busy had an absolute ball. So glad I took the camera. ( yes that is Chef!)
