If you have always wondered what I look like- this is me, according to Busy. Am I how you pictured me to be in your head? ( sorry about the bad light in the pics)
I framed them in some really cheaps frames and grouped them together on the wall in her room- a little crocked - but hey- if I didn't do them immediately they would never have got done.
They look really good all together and I have always been a big fan of displaying childrens art work nicely.
She is pretty happy about seeing them in her room. I sometimes forget to do creative things with her- where I sit with her and actually help her do it as I worry I will try and take over ( did someone say control freak) So I usually just watch and try not to interfere. But we did these together and I love them.

ReplyDeleteso nice that you will have lovely memories of that time together too.
Well done, Cath! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely something to look back and good memory to cherish together!
The likeness is amazing! That Busy girl must be almost as talented as her Mum in the artistic department!
ReplyDeleteOh Busy is a very creative little soul. They look fabulous. Great idea Cath, and I too find it hard to step back and just let them go xox
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute, and what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteahh they are so beautiful! And I so know that feeling of wanting to help but not being sure if you should. It's so hard sometimes to just let go, isn't it?
ReplyDeletethey are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI knew that's what you looked like!!
Oh too cute. Our 2nd preschool did framing as a fundraiser & i loved what they did with my children's art work. Sweetest idea, love Posie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and I bet she's proud as punch looking at them on the wall.
ReplyDeleteI use the fact that my boys are, well, boys, in order to avoid crafting with them. Which is dumb.
They do look great! I'm pretty slack at displaying thier work nicely. I've only just managed to free up a wall in the kitchen that is dedicated to thier creative pieces.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is exactly how I imagined you! Such a talented young chicken you have there :)
ReplyDeleteOoohhh these are lovely, and such a good idea, thanks for the link Cath.
ReplyDeleteStickin' stuff is Melli's big talent - I can see us having a lot of fun with these :)
Love the yellow frames too.
Wow. You look just like you do in my head.
ReplyDeleteThese are so much fun! Going to have to print some for my littles to dress up!
Well, yep, that's PRECISELY how I had you in my head! Knew you'd be one for feather headpieces and all. I bet Busy is wearing a great chuffed grin when she looks at 'em.
ReplyDeleteYou look like a happy lady with style and flair - just how I pictured you! The picture ideas are great!
ReplyDeleteLove! I am already framing some of Ruby's scribbles! It will be my most favourite art collection!
ReplyDeleteSparkly, feathery and with a wand - for sure, I will be able to spot you in the street for sure!
ReplyDeleteThey are just divine. I know our kids love it when their art makes the wall, since I did Caleb's drawing in embroider, he now thinks I should recreate every single drawing he makes!
They look so good, and the collage of you looks spectacular!!
ReplyDeletethey are amazing. she has done a great job. they look terrific hung as a group.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous and that is the best dispaly for her room. Yay team!
ReplyDeleteAwww...adorable! I've still got the kit I had for Busy when we had the girls night in...so she can create more artworks! Great likeness by the way, adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love them all grouped together like that. What a wonderful activity to do together and the end results are great.
ReplyDeleteLove these! I bet little Busy is proud x
ReplyDeletethey look so cute! I like the little frames and how your grouped them. I'm sure each time your little oe looks at them they will remind her of the special crafty time you two spent.
