My Creative Space:chunkychooky revealed...

I do love a bit of collage. These stencil people are from The Small Object- I saw them ages ago and printed some off for Busy. We dressed them on the weekend.

If you have always wondered what I look like- this is me, according to Busy. Am I how you pictured me to be in your head? ( sorry about the bad light in the pics)

I framed them in some really cheaps frames and grouped them together on the wall in her room- a little crocked - but hey- if I didn't do them immediately they would never have got done.

They look really good all together and I have always been a big fan of displaying childrens art work nicely.
She is pretty happy about seeing them in her room.  I sometimes forget to do creative things with her- where I sit with her and actually help her do it as I worry I will try and take over ( did someone say control freak)  So I usually just watch and try not to interfere. But we did these together and I love them.

  9. Beautiful, and I bet she's proud as punch looking at them on the wall.

I use the fact that my boys are, well, boys, in order to avoid crafting with them. Which is dumb.

  10. They do look great! I'm pretty slack at displaying thier work nicely. I've only just managed to free up a wall in the kitchen that is dedicated to thier creative pieces.

  17. Sparkly, feathery and with a wand - for sure, I will be able to spot you in the street for sure!
They are just divine. I know our kids love it when their art makes the wall, since I did Caleb's drawing in embroider, he now thinks I should recreate every single drawing he makes!
